Teacher - Student Behavior Contracts |

Teacher-Student Behavior Contracts were developed for the purpose of helping students gain control over behaviors that are interfering with their academic performance. The contracts cover a wide variety of school-related difficulties experienced by students of all ages, including teenagers!

Teachers and students complete the contract together, thereby:
- agreeing on rules
- assigning responsibility
- describing incentives as well as consequences, and
- strengthening their relationship

| When signed, these contracts form a binding agreement that can help students do better in school. |

| The Class Attendance Contract helps students and teachers agree on important issues and rules pertaining to class attendance and tardiness. Teachers and students complete the contract together and sign it, forming a binding agreement aimed at improving student attendance. |

| The Staying On-Task Contract provides a set of rules and procedures for both students and teachers to follow for the purpose of improving a student's ability to concentrate and stay on task in class. |

| The Schoolwork Contract can increase the amount of schoolwork students complete by providing them with structure. Together, students and teachers agree on important issues, healthy work habits, and sign the contract. |
